R&B Music Experience NY: Ashanti, Ginuwine, Tamar Braxton, 112, Next & Shai comes to Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday the 30th of March 2024!

It’s going to be one hell of a party special guest DJ A ONE. This concert is definitely going to be a sensational experience with the awesome beats, rhythm, and soulful vocals.

Get ready to sing to the songs that have stuck with us since the early 2000’s! Allow yourself to be captivated by these amazing artists, their stunning stage presence, and their unique sounds that have made them incredibly popular in the world of R&B.

Ashanti

Inspired by Mary J. Blige, Ella Fitzgerald, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Prince, Tupac Shakur, this very pretty singer, songwriter, and actress is known for her sultry voice and her unbelievable stage presence. She has bagged several awards such as the Favorite New Artist in Hip-Hop/R&B and Favorite New Artist in Pop/Rock in the American Music Awards in 2003, Best Contemporary R&B Album in the Grammys in 2003, Best Style in the MTV Video Music Awards Japan in 2005, and Award-Winning Pop Song in ASCAP Pop Music Awards in 2004, to name a few.

Ginuwine

Accumulating several nominations and winning the Best R&B/Soul Male Album in the Soul Trade Music Awards in 2000, Ginuwine has become a household name in the world of R&B. First starting out as a member of Swing Mob in the early 1990s, he eventually moved to become a solo artist in the mid-90’s. To date, he has sold over 10 million albums.

Tamar Braxton

Braxton started out in 1990 as a founding member of The Braxtons, a group with her sisters. In 2000, she released her first solo album. Braxton won a BET Award and three Soul Train Music Awards and she garnered 4 Grammy Awards nominations. Known for her five-octave soprano vocal range, this artist has claimed to be inspired by Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Kim Burrell, and Toni, her sister.

112

112 started out as a high school group called Forte. They auditioned at a club named Atlanta’s Club 112 before Combs who was immediately impressed by them. They then changed their name to 112. Their smash hit I’ll Be Missing You (with Puff Daddy and Faith Evans) won the Best Rap Performance by Duo/Group in the Grammy Awards.

Next

Next gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Their number-one smash single "Too Close" on the Billboard Hot 100 is what made them most famous. In addition, they are well-known for the songs "Wifey," "Butta Love," and "I Still Love You," all of which are still regularly played on radio stations worldwide.

Shai

Their smash hit “If I Ever Fall in Love” reached No.2 in the Billboard Hot 100, making them very popular in the 1990’s. They paved to make their name stay as one of R&B’s icons.
