Maybe we’ll never be Royals, but we’ll be so flossy right here in the middle of the crowd with our besties - raging it out and singing at the top of our lungs with none other than Lorde as she hits the stage and we get to catch up on her new love affair. And the queen truly is delivering this Buzzcut Season - not one but TWO nights here, December 16th and December 17th, for the end of the 2025 Ultrasound World Tour, the cementing of a new era, and the evolution of an artist’s Golden Era, and one who is quite literally synonymous with core Gen Z culture for well over the last decade now. She’ll be going around the world and back and then some - hitting stops like Moody Center in Austin, two nights at Anthem in D.C., two nights at the O2 in London, Bologna Italy, Sweden to begin December, and then - two nights as the final hoorah right here in Brooklyn baby.
Lorde is no secret - far from it actually, unless you’ve been lying under a rock the last 15 years - or you hate number one pop hits that have made their way around the world as testaments to youth culture and the moment we’ve lived in every time she chooses to drop an album. Lorde was born in New Zealand in the late 90s and got her start when she started dropping gems at talent shows and eventually signed to Universal and dropping treats on Soundcloud. Pure Heroine, her debut album, received major critical success and Billboard topping hits up and down the tracklist - and propelled her into worldwide stardom at a time when organic traction really mattered. She quickly became a superstar and the leader of a generation of internet kids and teens who were tumblr-savvy. Then Melodrama dropped, was ranked one of Rolling Stone’s top 500 albums of all time, and ever since - Lorde has enjoyed eclectic collaborations and fun pop up shows where she pleases. Now, on her fourth album Virgin - Lorde returns to all the sounds we fell in love with her for, all while still keeping it classy and progressing her persona through sonic sultry lyrics in every soundbite. It’s that good, y’all - and even more importantly, it’s here for us now to enjoy in person right here in our backyard, our favorite place ever.
It’s going to be one of those once in a lifetime shows people - especially with Blood Orange and Japanese Breakfast bringing the vibes to start off the night right. AKA - You won’t wanna miss this is basically what we’re saying. Get your tickets today, and we’ll see you soon - right here at Barclays, right here in Brooklyn!
