Once again, the Legends Classic tournament is back for its annual run with four impressive college basketball teams as they battle it out for the championship. Three of the four are making their comeback at the tournament. Auburn won the championship in 2019; Notre Dame won the 2016 championship; and Oklahoma State won the consolation game in 2017. St. Bonaventure will be making its first appearance in the event. The event is presented by Old Trapper field.
The final event for the championship title will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on the 17th of November, 2023. There will be a consolation game held for the defeated teams from the semi finals held on the 16th.

The Legends Classic is once again bringing a highly-anticipated basketball tournament to be held at the Barclays Center in New York. This annual tournament is one of the biggest tournaments in the industry, and becoming hailed as champions is a big deal. This year, the tournament is bringing in an impressive lineup filled with some of the best teams in the United States.
First off, we have the Auburn Tigers men's basketball program who represents Auburn University. The team is currently coached by Bruce Pearl. The school competes in the Southeastern Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) With a program beginning in 1906, the Tigers have set their tradition in playing their home games at Neville Arena in Auburn, Alabama on the university campus.
Next on the roster is the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Men's Basketball team. They represent the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana and are currently coached by Micah Shrewsberry. The Irish are one of only three teams to have more than 30 tournament appearances without either a championship or appearance in the championship game. They are also one of five teams with at least 30 appearances without a title. They are also the first Big East club to have two consecutive seasons of perfect home play. Will this be their first reign as champions?
Following this is the Oklahoma State Cowboys basketball team representing Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, United States. Currently, the Cowboys play in the Big 12 Conference. Ahead of programs like Oklahoma and Texas, CBS Sports placed Oklahoma State as the 25th-best collegiate basketball program of all time in 2020. The team won more national titles and advanced to the NCAA Championship, Final Four, Elite Eight and Sweet Sixteen more times than any Big 12 program.
Finally, we have the St. Bonaventure Bonnies men's basketball representing the St. Bonaventure University, located near the city of Olean, New York. Currently a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, the school's team plays its home games at the Reilly Center. Mark Schmidt, who presently leads all-time coaching wins with 203 victories over the Bonnies, became the all-time winningest coach in his 12th season, passing former coach Larry Weise.
